Overview
Embark on a moderate 10km hike up Kalembwani Hill, located between Salama and Sultan Hamud on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. The trail begins at a local shopping centre, ascending dusty paths and rocky outcrops, offering spectacular views of the highway and the SGR line. The climb can be steep in sections, requiring good footwear. After reaching the summit near the cell tower masts, the descent follows dirt roads and rocky river beds back to the main highway, completing a rewarding day of adventure.
